Content is coming at us like never before. There used to be a steady rain of content where, about halfway through a TV show or before a movie, advertisements would run. So there was at least a pattern of content that was manageable.

New content is pouring out of studios through easy-to-access services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and others in the form of series, movies, documentaries, and so on. There’s so much content coming at us now that social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) is now just another area to spend endless amount of time if you are so seduced.
What makes it really challenging is that the content today is arguably better than it’s ever been, so it’s easy to label much of it under the heading of learning or communicating. And business is now tied up into all of it. So there’s really no way you can’t participate.
